Lights, Camera, Action – Hollywood Theme Hand Painted Wine Glass

Vinette from Viginia turns 50, but its not no – over the hill for her – oh No!  It’s her time to shine – she’s the star.  So I’m commissioned by a friend to ‘direct’ from the sidelines and ‘produce’ a ‘supporting‘ hand painted wine glass worthy of Hollywood.

With cameras rolling I jumped to the role and designed a custom hand painted wine glass which features a movie camera beaming out 50th birthday – the zero is a film reel – in it’s rays of light. The base of glass bears a red carpet rolled out with Vinette’s name.

Here she is in her supporting role as ‘Hollywood Themed 50th Birthday Hand Painted Wine Glass’.

Custom Hand Painted Wine Glass Feature…Anna

Anna from Illinois is one very special young lady, she had a 21st birthday last month and her parents wanted to get her a custom hand painted wine glass. The typical ‘happy birthday’ and ’21′  hand painted on to a wine glass just would not do for their daughter.  They wanted a glass that told Anna’s story, that would reflect and celebrate the beautiful young lady she had become.

Anna relishes anything vintage, and renaissance in appearance, she enjoys photography and she is an avid reader. But most most of all she is ardently passionate about the old mother country England.  So I went to the drawing board to create a design that captured Anna the person. The design features a vintage sign with Anna’s name, est. 1990 (to represent 21st birthday), the big ben english clock, books, and camera on base of wine glass.

Say Happy Holiday To The Cook!

Just in time for the holidays I have designed a new hand painted wine glass for the A Wincy Glass Signature Wine Glasses Collection – Holly-Day-Cook Hand Painted Wine Glass.

Holly-Day is a play on the words holiday (that period during the year where we give thanks and commemorate christ birth) and holly (the evergreen shrub known as American Holly or Christmas Holly). Hence Holly-Day-Cook is for that person who  delights our palates with scrumptious cuisine as we celebrate the season.

The bowl of the glass features a three leaf holly branch with holly berries and red and golden swirls. On the base of the glass is a holiday apron with a baked turkey and script – Holly-Day-Cook with a chef hat sitting on top of the letter ‘C’.

Step Into Your Spring Wedding with Regatta & Coral Rose

Have you been sailing the skies, walking on cloud nine, and basking in the warm sunshiny glow that seems to surround you, since you said, “yes”? Well this wedding inspiration is for you.

When you hear the  word regatta, what comes to mind? Thoughts of sailboats on the ocean blue are immediately conjured up  in mine.  Look at this ‘Sweet Fleet‘ – “Puff pastry barquettes filled with grapefruit pastry cream, topped with white chocolate sails, on a sea of blue-tinted aspic with foamy wakes of egg white…” Apparently regatta is not just a fleet of sailboats on the sea but a treat of sweet fleet that you eat.  Who knew?
